Why isn't there any option to enable attention monitoring for MANUAL driving?

To prevent falling asleep at the wheel, etc. There should be a toggle switch under "safety" for all cars with a cabin cam. It would cost them nothing to enable this and likely dramatically reduce the risk of drowsyness induced accidents. The automatic lane departure assist feature has always been poor and intermittent at best.
