Long Uber Rides

I’m looking for some input from anyone with experience here for my next trip. Nashville to Memphis, arriving at about 6:00 am.

This time I took a “luxury” bus line and stayed in a hotel in Memphis for the next morning. Uber says from my apartment to the Memphis Amtrak station would be about $340. That’s about $100 less than a decent hotel plus all of the crazy room taxes, the Vonlane bus, etc.

What am I missing? What if no driver accepts the ride? Thoughts?
