Avoid Roaming Charges

Traveling in Asia for 3 months and using Holafly eSIM for data. Data roaming is turning off on my phone settings.

I need to keep incoming texts active for 2FA and with TELUS as long as I didn’t make or receive calls or send texts while abroad I wouldn’t incur roaming charges.

I’ve landed in the Philippines and got this text.

Just want to make sure this is just the normal advisory message and as long as I don’t call or text I won’t get charged extra.
