western scholars elective - what's program like and is it hard to get into

i applied bc i am interested in law and i think its research intensive curriculum will build a lot of soft skills that can be good for future, but considering how they only let in like 75 people it feels SILLY to even think about lol. those who are in the program though, how are the profs like and do you think its worth it? are the networks helpful and what are some pros and cons overall? i applied social sci and while it was fun, i am just going to move on lol
