Should I just keep my ja 3s at this size or wait and get them at a bigger size?

I ordered the Ja 3 "Jelly Bean/Pink Foam" about a week ago from Champs. They didn't have my size in-store, so they ordered them from the US. I normally wear a size 8 in AF1s, but I went with an 8.5 because I heard the Ja 3s fit tight.

They arrived today and they still feel a bit tight. My toes touch the front and there is not much room. I am thinking about going back to the store to try exchanging them for a size 9. The problem is they probably will not have that size in Canada, so they would need to order from the US again, which means waiting another week.

I am not sure if I should keep the 8.5s and hope they break in, or return them and wait for the 9. My feet are still growing, so I want these to last at least a year.

What would you do?
