Performance vs Premium - real world.

Ok, I'm a car person. Coming from a BRZ (love it but too low for my aching knees. Road noise is torture). I've had quick cars and bikes. My heart wants the Performace as I think I'll regret it if I don't. My head says the Premium is still super quick and has longer range. Anyone gone for heart over head and regretted it (or vice versa?).
