Cash Back Promo - Jan

Hi all,

So I ordered a seal performance in Jan. Did the test drive, loved it, dealer advised ordering ASAP to get the promo cashback. Mentioned stock coming in Feb.

Pushed the deal through in time, (Mid Jan), and as soon as Feb hit, got the notice it was delayed. End of March/April. I do believe the dealers don't know exactly what's on each ship etc that is unsold, but the whole promo just seems a way to get people to order with little chance of fulfilling. It benefits them to delay the order til March and not have to pay..

The promo states the car had to be ordered in Jan and delivered in Feb. So this delay means Im not eligible any more.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and still pushed for this to be honoured? I had been checking for available stock through Dec/Jan and there was none.

I get the whole idea of this promo is to likely sell available stock only, I just don't understand advertising it on all models with basically no chance of ever paying it due to no availability of cars..

I know its only $3k in the grand scheme of things, but seriously considering cancelling out of principle and the dismissive nature when I questioned it.
