Will my Fujifilm X-T1 be good enough for Safari.

Hi all as the title says I've gotten a Fujifilm X-T1 passed down to me with a XF50-200mm lens. I was wondering if this will be enough for a Safari? I've read that you can rent out lenses too, which I might do if this won't be enough. If it isn't should I rent a better lense or a whole newe setup in general? This Safari will probably be a one in a lifetime experience so no interest in buying a super expensive lense and camera. Thanks in advance for any advice :)
