He had a seizure
My husband had a seizure at work tonight and was taken to the A&E by one of his coworkers’ dad. He was stocking things and next thing he noticed, he was on the floot. He told them he didn’t need to go to the A&E, but they took him anyway.
I’m honestly grateful he was around people when this happened. He hasn’t drank for only 1 or 2 days, so the fact that this is what came to is very scary!
I’m in another country across the ocean, as I told him I needed a couple months to recover from the roller coaster experience that it is dealing with an addict, while it also gives him time to start recovery - and if he really commits to it, I’ll go back.
This happening while I’m away is honestly awful, especially since I like having control of everything (I’m working on it!) and he has been terrible updating me on the situation. It’s the middle of the night there and I still don’t know if he was admitted or what happened. I’m hoping he was and I feel better knowing his sister will see him tomorrow.
I’m really scared for him and I hate that this is the situation for the both of us.
Looking for support around this - is it possible that this is finally his rock bottom and he’ll want to recover?
