Multicam Talking Head editing advice

Hi All,

I’m an audio engineer coming from the DAW world and editing everything in Reaper but I’ve been dabbling with DaVinci Resolve Studio for about a year.

What I want to do is use Studio’s AI Multicam on a video recorded on StreamYard. I’ve got between 4-6 talking heads and occasionally some still

images.

I plan on using the video with all of the people as the wide shot.

HERE is the main question, sometimes I would like to have two of the talking heads or the host and a still image on the screen at the same time.

Can i disable the Multicam for a section and use an adjustment clip with video collage on the clips I want to show?

Is there an easier or smarter way to do what I want to do?

Bonus: if there are any cool plugins that can make a talking head show more visually appealing?
