Back to my fan character concept series after a break. As always, I really couldn't really think of any gameplay ideas for this series, so feel free to suggest some ideas in the comments. And you can leave some suggestions in the comments for what ship I could do next as well. In today's episode, we're continuing the break from PR ships. This time, with credit to [u/Sarah-Tang](https://www.reddit.com/user/Sarah-Tang/) for this, the other German pre-dreadnought that survived WWI but not for long afterwards, Lothringen.

History: SMS Lothringen was the last of the five Braunschweig class pre-dreadnoughts, launched on May 27th, 1904, and commissioned into the Kaiserliche Marine on May 18th, 1906. Prior to WWI, she mostly did squadron and fleet exercises and training cruises. She was part of a fleet exercise in Norway when the July Crisis cut it short, and was kept in service when she was to be decommissioned that year. She spent the first two years patrolling the German Bight, during which she was part of the raid on Scarborough, Hartlepool and Whitby in mid-December of 1914. By 1916, she was sent in for repairs and then did coastal defense duties in the Danish Straits. In 1917, her role would change to an unarmed training ship and would be in this role through to the end of the war in 1918. According to Versailles, eight of the older pre-dreadnoughts could be kept and she would be part of the Reichmarine. Her new role would be as a depot ship for F type minesweepers at Wilhelmshaven until 1920, when she was put into reserve and remained like this until March 24th, 1931. She was scrapped a week later on March 31st.

Description: Lothringen is a woman of average to above average height, coming in around the same height as the Admiral Hipper sisters. She has a fair skin tone and has reddish-orange eyes. She's got upper back length black hair, with white and red streaks in it. She has a modest build. Her chest size is equivalent to a D cup, an average waist, a toned stomach with a slight hint of pudge, an average butt, above average hips, and above average thighs. Her outfit is a mixture of French couture (A short dress, stockings, high heel boots, etc.) and a German military uniform (dark blue jacket with various medals on the right breast pocket, a Kaiserliche Marine officer's cap, etc.) in one package.

Personality: She's the tough one, but with a heart of gold. Her voice a lower growl for a woman, making her sound way scarier than she actually is. Takes things such as protocol and schedules very seriously. Her sweet side is rare, but when it's out, it's out there.

Rigging: Like her sister Elsass, Lothringen's rigging is comprised of two primary armatures, two secondary armatures, and an origin point behind her. The two primary armatures sit slightly above her, which have her 28cm (11 inch) SK L/40 guns in two twin turrets and the ship's bow split in half on them. The two secondary armatures have the secondary battery of casemate mounted 17cm (6.7 inch) SK L/40 guns (four of them are in single turrets on the deck) and casemate mounted 8.8cm (3.5 inch) SK L/35 guns. The origin point has the ship's three funnels and two masts, the rear most mast having the flag of Elsaß–Lothringen (The German controlled province of Alsace–Lorraine) on it.
