Got threatened after killing a “non-rat” at extract

So this happened in ARC Raiders.

I saw a guy with a free loadout run in and finish a downed player who was trying to extract. I watched him coming from nowhere, so I pulled up and executed him on the spot.

After that, he added me. I accepted. He sent: “I will kill you.” I accepted. He went quiet. I sat for a minute. He didn’t say anything, so I left the party.

Later, he added me again. I accepted again and said: “WHAT!”

He says: “Why you kill me?” with an Albanian heavy accent. He also says the downed player shot him in the back. I looted the guy he KO — he was juiced and had no ratting gear. Then he said he was somewhere else and ran all the way to KO a downed player.

I said: “No brother, listen, I saw you coming from nowhere. You ratted. Listen, it’s a game, but don’t pretend you didn’t rat.”

During the encounter he also used the n-slur in voice chat.

My take: if you’re gonna rat, be a man, own up when you get taken down. There is no pity. Don’t threaten outside the game.
