Armour designations
I'm curious, what do the designations at the beginning of the armour names actually mean? Some of them follow a pattern of being an abbreviation of the passive they have, while others I've made an educated guess on in brackets:
A - Feet First (?)
AC - Acclimated
AD - Adreno-Defibrillator
AF - Advanced Filtration
B - Extra Padding (Basic)
BP - Ballistic Padding
CE - Engineering Kit (Combat Engineer)
CM - Med-Kit (Combat Medic)
DP - Democracy Protects
DS - Desert Stormer
EX - Electrical Conduit (Experimental)
FS - Fortified (Foot Soldier)
GS - Gunslinger
I - Inflammable
IE - Integrated Explosives
PH - Peak Physique
RE - Reinforced Epaulettes
RS - Rock Solid/Reduced Signature
SA - Servo-Assisted/Supplementary Adrenaline
SC - Scout
SR - Siege-Ready
UF - Unflinching
There are some armours that don't follow this pattern and have a different passive from their designation, and there are also some extra designations that just have a random passive tied to it:
TR - seems to be for armour acquired through special means like events or pre-order bonuses, maybe stands for 'Trophy'
CW - for polar patriots armour so I'm assuming 'Combat Winter' or something
I'm wondering if anyone has any insight as to if the designation have any actual meaning to them or I'm just reaching. The guns and grenades all seem to follow a naming convention too, except for crossover weapons, like G - grenades, LAS - Laser, etc., so I imagine they use a similar naming convention for the armour sets. Perhaps the ones with mismatched passives were originally going to have a different passive, but were changed last minute. For example, the new superstore set is called DP-8 Mountain-Scaled which suggests it was meant to be a Democracy Protects set, but it is Siege-Ready instead, maybe they changed it for people that were asking for a medium Siege-Ready set.
