Should I let him know?

It has been more than a month since I (29F) broke up with my then boyfriend because of LDR. He felt that 5 months apart from each other is too long. But there were changes with my scheduled flight and I am about to go back home within a few days now (instead of 3 more months). Should I let him know? At the back of my mind I’m hoping that we’d get back together. But it also feels that he doesn’t want me back. I was just thinking maybe I should let him know because the major factor that led to our breakup just changed (there were few other factors).
