My abusive ex threatened to erase my report

Labor Law (Unions)

Location: Utah

Both me and my ex partner are a part of our local union. I filed a sexual misconduct/intimate partner violence grievance against him. The union first said that they would take it to trial and render a decision. But then sent me a decision letter that just said they would do a voluntary agreement with my ex to not show up to any union activity, function and a no-contact directive. He’s told them that he will follow the agreement only on the conditions that they erase all the communication, notes, etc about my grievance and if he gets his membership restored. Since they chose to just give him this agreement which has been three weeks and unsigned. I fear they will erase all my evidence

They claimed that they cannot revoke his membership because of legal risks and that the charges were such that it was ineligible for a trial. They also said that my grievance doesn't rise to a violation of CWA policy on Mutual respect in terms of sex-based discrimination. Then they said I could appeal and if so, I would get a trial and that decision is final.

It’s in the CWA constitution that members can be expelled/suspended if they violated CWA policy.

They also first said that the charges were "trial ineligible" but then they said I could appeal for a trial.

They also said they legally couldn't revoke his membership.

They also claim that my abuse is not covered under sex based discrimination or really any policy under CWA

I am deeply suspicious and unconvinced by their claims. Can someone tell me if any of it is grounded and what to look for?
