Really surprised how many hits Jefferson Starship had

So I recently started listening to more Jefferson Starship. And honestly, I’m kind of shocked at their chart history. From 1974-1984 they consistently have songs on the hot 100. They had 9 top 40 hits an overall 17 songs that charted on the hot 100.

I actually really like their 80s albums quite a bit and no way out is a killer AOR track. It’s just weird because I never consider them like one of the biggest rock bands of that air or anything like that, but they were consistently on the charts for a decade and if you count just starship, obviously it was even longer than that.
