Warlock vs Ancients Question

Quick question, i just want to know how those warlock performs against hell ancients on a playthrough? Mine is only in normal and im trying to plan my ladder season start. Is massive gear required for that fight? Or will warlocks take down ancients easily on day 1 of ladder?
