“First pimple only a week after stopping Accutane” - Update

9 days ago I posted that I was freaking out, because it had been a week since I had finished my course and I got a new pimple, my first ever in many months.

A lot of the people in this sub asked me for an update, some commenters said that it was probably my skin adjusting to the lack of Accutane. Turns out they were right!

For a couple of days after that post, I kept getting one or two tiny superficial pimples daily which lasted only for a few hours each. I was worried that my acne was coming back.

However, it‘s been now a week and the weird pimples have stopped, I’m now completely clear! I hope we all stay clear forever. So far, I am very glad I decided to take this drug, I was on a low dose for my weight and my treatment lasted around a year, but I didn’t mind at all because I had almost zero side effects.
