Two Charge 6 comparable to a single Boombox 3?

I currently have a JBL Charge 6, and I am planning on upgrading to the Boombox 3.

However, I would REALLY like to know if anyone here has had 2 Charge 6s hooked together to create a stereo pair, and has also had a single Boombox 3? If so, is there a significant difference in sound quality (clarity, instrument separation) in favour of the Boombox 3, or two Charge 6 can actually compete with a single Boombox, because the "mono factor" is tossed out of the equation?
