what should I do about a high school love triangle?

I am a high school student I've never really had a problem with getting girls but I always had a problem with finding someone I like so I have on a couple occasions gotten together with someone because I knew they liked me, and I am only recently learning how to know what I want well I know what someone else wants. There are two girls who are the "Problem?", most of it is deciding who I actually like but I cant really do that because both are in somewhat compotation they are playing roles so if I chose to take one out the other one is now no longer on the table, witch sounds scummy but I barely know ether of them more then just a few interactions. I live in a very small southern rural town (ruffly 6,000 people) and I go to the smallest school, I have a graduating class of 30ish. So this is what is making it rarely hard to know who is who, Girl 1 I'm going to call Amy, Girl 2 Ill call Megan, since we have all been in the same school for years it started a while ago, with Amy, me and here were in the same friend group form 7th grade up un tell 9th or so then we didn't see each other for a while I was out of school working, and we never met up or got in contact. I came back and we didn't really see each other for my tenth grade year. My tenth grade was when me and Megan started to be friend's though. Now I don't really believe in high school relationships its just baggage but I think that leading someone on or rejecting someone in a way that destroys there ego is just as bad (unless they need it). Megan and me would kind of just flirt around all day and then are classes changed and we didn't see each other so we stopped interacting besides a occasional hello or smirk in the halls. Here is were it gets a little complicated this year I take choir and Amy has that class with me so we start getting close, then I start hearing whispers around that she has a thing for me and at first I'm kind of like that's cool I don't feel the same, but then I start to think well its unfair to not give her a chance so I put out there that I just don't know her Its not that I don't like her or do I just don't know her well enough, and we get to flirting. Megan is in the same choir class but whenever Amy is around she wont talk to me like normal, and when she dose its bout how me and Amy have something going on. Earlier this year I came to were Megan works and shoveled some thick snow for her boss (she called me to ask me to come do it), well her boss offered me a job because of it so now we both work together, and any time were together outside of school like at work if Amy aint around we talk and really enjoy being around each other. Amy at one point asked me if me and Megan are talking or if there is something there and I regrettably told her no, because I know Amy really likes me. I don't know what I should have done but I did what I did and I'm just trying to figure out what the right move going forward is. Now the specific reason I'm righting this is because I don't know how to get to know both of them as real people not them trying to not get in trouble with there friend or what ever it is that's keeping them from just being real people with me, all I need to know is what should I do?
