Hello everybody, I am a Chinese delta force players. I would like to share some interesting memes in Delta force Chinese community, hopes you like it.

1. D-wolf

Chinese name: Red wolf

Gameplay Meme: "Body Snatching" / "Leg Meta" — stealing enemy's gear after killing them by shooting their legs to bypass high-level armor.

Voice Line Meme: "Hua Lai"（flower come!） — derived from a famous bilibili gamer's victory line: "Rig! Head! Armor! Gun! Pack! HUA LAI!!!" after a successful snatching.

2. Vyron

Chinese name: Mighty dragon. The name Vyron is actually a transliteration of Weilong, which means mighty dragon

Character memes: Generally considered to be the lover of Mai Xiaowen, or being homosexual for originated from the gayest province in China, Sichuan.

Gameplay Meme: "Air Shell connects to the brain, jet thrust replaces thought!" — a satirical line mocking players who mindlessly rushing to the opponent knocked down by Air Shell launcher without considering the surroundings . It implies his gear is doing the thinking for him.

Voice Line Meme: "The sky won't fall" — his signature line "With me here, the sky won't fall" is widely quoted to inspire teammate.

3. Tempest

Chinese name: Fast wind

Character memes:

1."Aunt Zhang"  -- originated from a red-haired female planner surnamed Zhang; players jokingly called her "Aunt Zhang" and she responded, making the name stick and later transferring to the operator.

2. Considered as the lesbian lover of Luna Kim. Also, from Chinese perspective she was generally regarded as the third hottest female operator in the game, first being Mai, second being Toxik(Russian are more asiatic looking, I guess).

3. She act like the Bungee jumping Zombie in plant vs zombie, so there are many crossover fanpics.

4. Nox:

Chinese name: One who has no name

Character memes: Considered as the hottest male characters in the game by Chinese gamer girls. While male players has the opposite opinion, here is why:

Gameplay Meme:"Humorous Silent Step Guy", Players joke that his Assault kit is so awkward (flash grenades that blind teammates, discs that hit himself) that nobody uses him except for fun—making him a "humorous" joke. Ironically, he's also called a "concept god" because when he ults, you have to pre-aim for 30 seconds but he never shows—pure mind game. As players say: "He was doomed from birth. Body-snatchers don't want him, assault teams look down on him, even mouse/rat players prefer others"

5. Stinger

Chinese name: Bee doctor

Character memes: Considered as the main comic relief of all the operator for his goofy exterior modeling. There are many fan videos mained him as the hilarious protagonist.

"Haji Bee" — a nickname derived from the "Hakimi" cat meme culture;Stinger somehow became "Haji Bee" in the community .

"Running Knife mouse"—Stinger is often called a rat player who runs around with just a knife, avoiding fights and looting while teammates fight.

"Quack Doctor" — a pun on his name "bee doctor" vs "quack" , mocking players who play selfishly instead of healing .

6. Toxik

Chinese name: Gu（translation: Well, this word has many translations. It is originated from the bio-witchcraft performed by Hmong people, it can be translated as: Poison / Venom, Parasite / Worm, Curse / Hex, Poisonous insect, check here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gu_(poison)）

Character memes: "Being the 'boss' who becomes the 'gu'"— a meme mocking players who pay for escort service usually pick Toxik. But they sometimes end up being treated as "bait" or "meat shield" by the escorts . In some cases, the escorts eat the best loot while the boss gets nothing, or even let the boss die first to save themselves.

"Escort" explained: In Delta Force, "escort" means hiring skilled players as henchmen to protect you in high-risk maps, kill enemies, and help you safely extract with valuable loot. You pay them real money (e.g., $15-$40 per hour) for this service.

7. Vlinder

Chinese name: Butterfly, a small sound meme here, die sound mostly the same with the Chinese character father. A voice line of vlinder is “wo shi ni die”， I am your vlinder --> I am your father.

No hard memes yet, but all Chinese players consider her very adorable.

8. Shepherd

Chinese name: Shepherd/ One who herd sheep

Character memes: All generic steretypical memes regarding good church-loving african american has been related on him.

Gameplay Meme: Because his moves are hard counters to skillsets of Nox, he is also considered as the "strict father of Nox".

9. Uluru

Chinese name: Wululu. Ok, Uluru need some extra-content.

Gameplay Meme: Often performed by Uluru, "Bridge Camping" in Space City: Space City's three extraction points are all at the southern end of the map . This forces all players to cross a bridge to extract. "Bridge camping" means holding this chokepoint, killing the last team trying to cross, and stealing their loot. This is a authentic tactic and it is very hard to counter for new players.

Character memes: Uluru = "CS" (chusheng, animal/beast):
Uluru is considered the king of "CS" moves because his kit makes bridge camping oppressive. He is the most hated operator in the game, mostly portraited as the antagonist in fanart.

Because of this, many players cursed Uluru players losing their "floating wood" (parents) and carrying family photos:

"Losing Floating Wood" — In Chinese gaming slang, "floating wood"(Fumu) sounds like "parents" . Since Uluru players are cursed by the community for bridge camping, they are said to have "lost their parents" as punishment. Some shamelss Uluru player will counter by saying "MY PARENT HAS ALREADY BEEN DEAD!(Wo de fu mu si la!)".

"Family Photo" Protection — To counter this curse, Uluru players bring the white in-game item "Family Photo" . If killed, enemies only get black-and-white photos. Players stockpile them in safeboxes and warehouses, even prioritizing them over weapons, believing this "dissolves the side effects" of playing Uluru .

"Seeking Cyber Parents"  — In fan art and videos, Uluru is often depicted desperately "adopting" random people as parents. Uluru players trap others into becoming their "foster parents" before bridge camping to "sacrifice" them. Usually from players of other game like Valorant/CSGO.

10. Sineva

Chinese name: Dark blue

Character memes: Generally considered as the protective wise daddy of young operator. A very decent person, no hard meme about him.

11. Gizmo

Chinese name: Bit

Character memes: No hard meme about him. Usually portrait as a clumsy nerd.

12. Luna

Chinese name: Luna

Character memes: She is often depicted as the cool-mined strategist of the GTI team. Yeah, cool and serious. Also, She is gay, obviously.

Gameplay Meme: "Kill-Hungry Luna"— a meme mocking Luna players who ignore team objectives and just hunt kills. Despite being a Recon operator meant for spotting enemies, many play her as an aggressive fragger, chasing down enemies instead of supporting teammates .

13. Hackclaw

Chinese name: hacker's claw

Character memes:

1. "Mai-Mai" / "Little Wheat" — common nicknames for her, showing player affection.
2. "Mai Mouse"— a playful nickname because she's cute and good at sneaky recon play
3. Considered to be a CP of Vyron.

Gameplay Meme: “Constructed Mai”. Well this meme has nothing to do with construction. "Constructed" in Chinese sound (Gou zao) very like two things in China: 1. Horrible enough. 2. made by dog. Many Mai solo players trying to play nice and beg for mercy when they encounter a stronger players in operation mode, and then betray them when she has the chance, and her dagger and flash boom making it more easy to do so, especially before her nerfing. So other players cursed her this way.

14. Raptor
    Chinese name: Silver wing, actually it is the name of his UAV.

Gameplay Meme: "Old Bei's Pickled mustard tuber(Lao Bei Zha)" Well actually, in operation mod some Raptor players will constantly harass other players with his silver wing UAV, one famous bilibili uploader shouted "Why I am always getting boomed?!" "always getting boomed" sounds like "Old Bei's Pickled mustard tuber". Because Chinese people like delicious food, so created this meme.
