Legs are painfully itchy with hair regrowth. Help!

I’m at a loss for what to do with my legs. I can no longer use a standard razor because it irritates my skin so much immediately after shaving. I deciddd to try waxing my legs and my skin reacted super well initially! No irritation or itching, legs did well with exfoliation and moisturizers (body oil I use for Brazilian aftercare and CeraVe moisturizing cream), and they were super smooth! Thought I had finally found my solution, but now that I’m getting hair regrowth, my legs are on FIRE. Mostly after showering and moisturizing. What gives??

Any suggestions on what to try welcome!
