Update to Please Help Us Name Baby #4

Hey everyone, thanks for the help, discussion, and ideas on my post. Baby ended up being a boy, and we eventually settled on Alexander; his middle name comes from my side of the family. Husband was really pulling for Conrad and I was rooting for Calvin, but neither of us could come around to the other’s favorite. I initially felt bad like we “settled” on Alexander vs. having a light bulb type moment, but it fits him well and I don’t have any regrets.

My main concern was people using Xander as a nickname, which most people said wouldn’t happen. We’ve had two people bring it up so far (one being a friend from college and the other being our oldest, who is almost 8 years old) but luckily we’ve just said “Nope, he’s Alex for now” and it hasn’t been brought up again.
