Visa to be modified, can I cancel?

My application was rejected as my Canadian work permit has less than 6 months left (I am a British national).

My online application. Currently says ‘To be modified’. Is there a way I can withdraw my application now visa free travel is confirmed or should I leave the application as it stands. Will it affect getting a tourism visa at the border?
