I’ve achieved nirvana
I (26F) spent most of my 20s dating the wrong men, getting heartbroken and moving on. I carried a lot of baggage until I restarted my life for the 2nd time in a new city. It was very hard in the beginning, I was moving on from an ex who is getting married.
I was angry at myself for putting up with the disrespect for far too long, It was disappointing. I knew I needed to change something to stop this pattern.
I started pursuing my hobbies, got completely locked in towards my fitness and my intellectual capabilities. My weekends have never been so peaceful. I have finally become free from desire, lust and not wanting to be lonely.
I’ve become very comfortable with my own company. I feel secure mentally, very much healed. I have no desire to date nor do I crave any male attention.
Would 10/10 recommend everyone to get into self-improvement mindset. It’s very hard and often painful but it’s worth it.
Delayed gratification >>>>> short term pleasures
Take care of yourself out there girlies, the world is not a good place. Stay vigilant, make your own choices and own up the consequences.
