Any tips on getting plastic wrap off of new equipment?

Does anyone have any good tips on how to get the plastic off of new kitchen/bar equipment? Just the parts stuck in all of the hard to reach/already bolted down nooks and crannies. I keep hearing hair dryer but was wondering if anyone knows of any other good methods. Thank you!
