Testosterone being questioned by general practioners.

audited

I've (46F) been on estrogen patches (.5) for about 6 months, progesterone IUD for years. I have worked w a MIDI NPRN to get on Addyi for low libido, def feel like it has helped. Got labs done for Testosterone levels, MIDI practitioner recommended finding a local practitioner that can prescribe since she does not have the license to be able to in the state of Kentucky. My family dr also does not so I saw another general practitioner in same office who can. she said since my levels are at the lowest end possible of normal range, she doesn't feel comfortable prescribing. She proceeded to talk about all the "risks", including cardiac and such. I got super irritated and wanted to basically walk out. She said she would contact my in person OBGYN and ask her their opinion. Immediately got a call back to schedule w my OBGYN, appt is tomorrow morning.

I'm not sure if I'm just here to rant or ask if others feel "guilty" about trying to pursue treatment while still in normal ranges? She said its normal for someone to have low levels at my age, but that doesn't mean I have to just accept it! Ugh! Hoping for more rational responses from my OBGYN.
