considering nipple piercings but don’t know anything about them, lots of questions 😓

hi guys! i’m (20F) interested in getting nipple piercings but i don’t really know how to take care of them properly. i’m a bit of a clean freak so i know i will want to thoroughly wash my body in the shower, but isn’t it bad to get soap on the piercing? how do you guys go about showering while nipple piercings are healing?

what kinds of bra should i wear while they’re healing? i saw another thread that said to wear a bra so the jewelry doesn’t get caught on loose shirts. my boobs are more “off to the side” though so all of my bras are either snug or a bit loose. would a snug bra be putting too much pressure on the piercing or would that be a good thing because it’s holding everything in place? would a slightly loose bra be bad because it allows for movement/accidental brushing against?

i understand the healing process can take up to a year so does that mean my partner can’t touch or lick the area until it is fully healed? if that’s the case then the piercing likely won’t be THE ONE for me because we both love it when he squeezes my boob 😭😭 sorry if that’s too tmi but i really do want to know what restrictions we would have while the piercings heal

finally, i don’t have many other piercings so i don’t know what my pain tolerance is. i got my first and second ear lobe piercings done with a piercing gun (yes, i know… bad! i was really young). i have no experience with piercing needles and the nipple is a sensitive area so i’m afraid i would be in too much pain. can anyone share their experience with getting the piercing and how the pain was?
