Valentine’s: Single Party Edition

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. I’m single, staying in Kochi and my roommate went home. Porathe irangiyal full couples . Reddit and Insta was flooded with relationship posts and yeah, slight FOMO undayirunnu.

So I forced two of my college friends (they were about to go home) to stay back. Planned a “Valentine Single Party.” Onnum valiya plan illa , just 2 kuppi vangiyittu straight to their room.

After a few rounds, everyone opened up. We talked about failed relationships, crushes, jeevithathile tensions, missed chances, adiche level ayapo full emotional ayi. Kurachu karanju 😂😅

Then suddenly, ellavrude ullile dancer & singer purathe vannu. We blasted some M. G. Sreekumar songs and danced like idiots. Called old college friends, spoke pure nonsense, laughed at nothing.

Sunday morning, hangover mode. Watched Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Adi Kapyare Kootamani, laughed again, had a 4 pm chaya, said bye, and i came back to my PG.

I am posting this because sometimes social media makes it look like love = only couple moments. But honestly, small nights like this become core memories.
