SOS only - BSNL International Roaming Not Working in USA Since Nov 2025

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in Boston, USA and have been using my BSNL SIM on international roaming for the past 2 years without any issues. Since November 2025, it suddenly stopped working and only shows “No Service”.

I have active balance and validity. I recharge regularly just to keep it active because I only use this number for OTP.

Here’s what’s happening:

•	Initially it was showing SOS / No Network

•	After switching to LTE, I can manually see T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon etc.

•	When I select T-Mobile, it shows a tick mark (like it’s selected)

•	But still no signal bars and no SMS

•	Network selection option works now

•	SIM works in other phones the same way (so not phone issue)

I’ve tried:

•	Resetting network settings

•	Cleaning SIM

•	Trying in multiple phones

•	Manual network selection

•	Turning roaming on/off

•	Airplane mode reset

Still no proper network connection.

Has anyone faced this recently with BSNL international roaming in the US?

Did BSNL change roaming agreements?

Do I need backend reactivation?

Any help would really mean a lot because I urgently need this number for OTP access.
