Aegis of Valor dysfunction, no double LP on autofilled Wins

I just played a game of ranked where I queued Mid/Jungle and got filled top. Didn't get the Aegis of Valor popup/message in champ select (which already seemed strange), then I played the game, won, with a C+, and still nothing. No message, no double LP, whilst I checked every box to qualify for it. I've seen a couple similar messages from a few weeks ago when the system was introduced and I'm surprised that there hasn't been a fix yet. Does Aegis not proc for every autofilled game/role the same way? Did I miss some info or an update?
