Vagina changed after losing virginity. Is this normal?

So, this might be TMI, but I'm hoping you guys understand. I'm 27 and I just lost my virginity yesterday to my boyfriend of a year. We had been trying to build up to it for a while because he is quite large (girth wise) in the downstairs department and I hadn't even used a tampon before meeting him. So we started small with a finger, moved up in size a bit here and there. And then yesterday, had full on penetrative sex. It was the most excruciating pain of my life. I've been bleeding since. Like needing a maxi pad bleeding. I could tell I tore a lot when it was happening so I was expecting the blood. What I was not expecting however was for there to now be an extra thick flap of skin hanging out of the bottom of my vaginal opening. To be exact, it looks like a piece of my vaginal opening almost that has detached from the rest and is now hanging there. I have no idea what it is, I'm freaking out because it protrudes even more when I'm trying to go to the bathroom. I'm terrified to go number 2 because I dont want to bear down and make it worse. I figured maybe it was a hymenal tag, but everything I've read about those are that they're thin and small. This is quite large and thick. It looks and feels like a skin tag that has grown for years and is now large. I'm worried this will get worse and affect my body image. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
