Got a High risk for 22q11.2, wondering what the timeline/testing will be till we know the truth.

We got our NIPT and it says baby girl is high risk for 22q11.2 microdeletion. It says I have a 50/50 chance for it to be an actual positive. I have an appointment with a genetic counselor tomorrow, but Im curious how long it took others to have definitive results. I also want to know what kinds of tests you had to do for ruling it out or getting a diagnosis.

We tried for this baby for 3 years and had a failed cycle of IVF last year. We can't believe I got pregnant at all and Im devastated that we even have to worry about this, seeing as this may be our only chance for another child.
