Xanthelasma?

A few months ago I noticed a small, flat yellowish area on my inner eye that almost looked like a smear of concealer that wouldn’t come off. There is an even smaller one on the other side. They look like they could be xanthelasma, though they are not puffy at all. I’ve read this could be tied to underlying high cholesterol or lipids, which would be surprising to me as I have a low bmi and eat very little red meat/dairy.

In any case I scheduled a dermatologist appointment in a few weeks and a physical to get bloodwork done. Just curious if anyone’s had these pop up in Peri, as it coincided with my cycle shortening significantly and enough other symptoms to prompt me to make a midi appt and get HRT, which I’ve only just started this week. Any experience appreciated!
