Ringconn steps not syncing to Apple Health properly

I have my Ringconn synced to Apple Health, which is then copied into Stepup (to motivate me with confetti and a streak). My Ringconn reached 10k steps (with and without my phone), but Apple Health/Stepup is stuck at 8500.

All data and sources said that it is counting 2-3 steps every minute. At least I can get more steps in… but I don’t want to lose my streak! Any clue what to do? I hope Ringconn fixes their Apple Health issues (or have a built in streak feature)
