How do you fight decision paralysis?

Question about OCD

I haven't talked to many people about OCD so not even sure how common this is but I often get obnoxiously stuck because I have to think through stuff I already know just to get to the same point over and over, and when I do I often feel like I missed something so I go through it again.

This eventually causes me to overanalyze simple stuff such as picking things I prefer (food, activities, ...) over others, to the point it loses all meaning and I realize I actually have no idea how to tell which option is best.

Is this a common pattern? What can I do in these cases (which is pretty much most of my days)?
