Unsure what degree to apply for

Hi I'm a year 12 student studying FM, maths, chem, physics predicted 4 A*, with 8 9s and 3 8s GCSE and I feel quite clueless as to which sort of degree I should apply for. I would like to enter a career with a high earning potential, is something like maths a safe bet or is it better to do something like engineering, thanks
