• ⁠Intended use: Pictures

• ⁠If photography; what style: Nature, portraits, nice background with people/person in scene

• ⁠If video what style: Not a vlogger, but might do a little trip montage. Not a main point.

• ⁠What features do you absolutely need: Movable screen, flash, panorama if possible ( mentioned camera does not have it)

• ⁠Portability: Pocket size / no big lenses

• ⁠Cameras you're considering: Canon PowerShot SX740 HS

• ⁠Cameras you already have: None

• ⁠Notes: I’m a first-timer, have no experience, but interested in playing with settings, filters, angles, etc.

Would generally use it for trips in other countries with nature or nice views, sunsets. Will be traveling a lot, so I’m keen on getting a camera and capturing moments with my friend.

I’ve read and learnt some about this camera and have mixed opinions on it. Currently thinking on getting this one. Any opinions? Thank you.
