This dynamic of Mars and the lunar node in the Mars 360 model aligns heavily with the intuition of Dr Richard Schwartz’s Internal Family Systems, which describe the human condition being composed of several parts along with a “Self” which if tapped into can bring about qualities of compassion, clarity, connectedness, etc. Internal family systems posits that these parts of comprised of protectors called managers and firefighters. Managers are intuited to be perfectionist, careful, hyper-responsible, cautious in order to keep vulnerable aspects of ourselves—called exiles—safe. This intuition strongly aligns with the intuition about the lunar node elucidated in “Ares Le Mandat” —that of it being a cautious safeguarding influence on the sector where it’s located.

The other protector in Internal Family Systems are called firefighters, which are posited to extinguish the pain of exiles if the managers fail to prevent the pain from breaking through. Firefighters do this often through reckless behavior i.e. rage, decadence, impulsive risk taking, disassociation, and other behaviors that are extremely compromising. The intuition behind firefighters aligns strongly with the intuition about Mars, in that Mars is said to bring about progressively negative and dangerous behaviors that can eventually culminate in death and murder.

What we have here is corroboration of intuition when it comes to the similarities between Internal Family Systems and Mars 360. Below are quotes from “Ares Le Mandat”(2019) explains the dynamic between Mars and Lunar nodes, which intimates the similar dynamic presented in Internal Family Systems.
