Staircase stringer

Where would I get the timber for the staircase stringer in person please? 2×12 or 3×12. Id like to get it in person as I can check for bow and whatnot and get the truest pieces. I gathered that I need c16 or c24 .I checked build yard and they don't have them. I am in Leicestershire if it helps. Thanks guys!
