What If it Dies on Long Trip?

Question

I use my 25 LTD for long trips. Given the ever increasing reports of xCCU failures, what happens if while we are in say South Carolina, with fully loaded vehicle, 1200 miles from home in NH, and it dies.

I call Hyundai’s customer care number, they send tow truck and take it to local dealer? I get a loaner, but If the part is back ordered, I probably need to go home in the meantime.

Would Hyundai accommodate this? Do I need to drive it back to get my car? Or would they ship it to me?

I know this may seem like an edge case to some, but this is what I use the car for — road trips.

Getting more concerned about the ticking time bomb aspect of owning this car …
