People who honk at you for not pulling out into the road are the same people who make you slow down because they got onto the road too soon
I'm not denying there are people who do actually take too long to get onto the road or make a turn when there are no cars coming soon, but it's much more often for cars to get onto the road while cars are incoming, making them slow down or change lanes.
I get it, I've thought to myself, "had I gone... would I have made it?" And the answer is always "yes", but with a catch. Yes, I would've made it without crashing even if the cars didn't slow down, but I would not have made it without the cars being a second or two from where I was passing through, it makes them have to slow down and predict they can hit me. So I get why I get honked at, albeit not very often, but those people are so unaware that they *do* make drivers slow down. Just because you made it doesn't mean you should've gone.
