How's your experience with HP's elitebook and ProBook?

Peeps, I wanna know how is your experience with these machines. if you ask from me, my experience has been very frustrating regarding compatibility. Though they work well within windows ecosystem, but when it come for Linux, they literally start suffocating and spit hell of compatibility issues. Even I was not able run my automation scripts on pycharm, it produced dependencies conflicts.

Now for almost one year, I am using Thinkpad, and my experience has been very smooth throughout. Its AMD Ryzen 5 quite below from AMD Ryzen 7 (elitebook) and intel core i5-1335U (probook). Still I have never faced any of those issues. It's very minimal, to the point and less noisy (from marketing perspective).

That was my experience, how's yours btw?
