Difference between Max Payne 1 and 2 weapons

In Max Payne 1 you have the Lead Pipe and the Baseball Bat as melee weapons, while in 2 you just have a gun-bash.

Dual Deagles, the MP5, the Kalashnikov and the Dragonouv are new additions in 2.

1 has the Jackhammer as the late-game shotgun while 2 has the Striker.

The Colt Commando in 1 was replaced by the M4 Carbine in 2.

Finally there is the M79 Grenade launcher that was only in the first game.

I was wondering how this would be handled in the remakes, there might be new weapons, I'd love silenced pistols.
