tips for peels base?

hey so recently i bought the peely base for the first time - i use a lot of glitter polishes and thought it would be my easier to removed the polish with this. and boy was i right - they begin to peel within 24 hours and i’ve lost my mani within 48! am i doing something wrong? my routine is - peely base, smoothing base, 2-3 coats of colour and a top coat. tbh this reason is exactly why it’s taken me so long to try the peely base as i have flashbacks from 10 years ago when peely bases first came out 🫣was hoping things had improved but so far no joy.
