Is analog stick aiming harder on Switch or is it just me? Is Switch 2 better?

Question

Hi everyone, old fart here.

I have noticed that I struggle a lot with aiming and precise analog stick movements on Switch. For example, in MGS3 Snake Eater and MGS2 Sons of Liberty, aiming feels very difficult for me. I also had trouble in Crash Bandicoot when trying to jump accurately from one box to another using the analog stick. I used to be great at these games on Playstation.

I am trying to figure out if this is just how these games are designed on all platforms, or if the Switch Joy Cons make precision harder compared to other controllers.

Has anyone else experienced this? Would using a Pro Controller make a noticeable difference? And does anyone know if the newer hardware improves stick precision?

is switch 2 better at this?

Thanks in advance.
