Main Character Conflicts

I just finished House of Earth and Blood and overall really liked it!

One thing that has stuck out to me was the conflict between the FMC and their love interest/MMC in the three series.

In my opinion, Bryce had the biggest reason to be mad at Hunt when the fallen were busted for trying to get Synth. The fact that Hunt knew for a week and kept it from her was something that I thought she wouldn’t easily forgive. Maybe a lot of it stems from her understanding of him wanting to escape slavery?

I felt like in ACOTAR the whole conflict between Feyre and Rhys was really dragged out and the same with Aelin and Chaol with Nehemia’s death in TOG. I was really expecting for Bryce to be angry with Hunt for much longer than the like two chapters that she was.

Maybe that’s just me! But I found it interesting. 🤪
