Anyone using progesterone cream instead of oral micronized?

I'm considering switching from BC to HRT, but I have a history of gallbladder issues from oral hormones, and combipatch progestin isn't bioidentical. Is anyone using the estrogen patch with bioidentical progesterone cream instead of oral micronized progesterone? Does that work for you?
