Broken laundry machine

Hi! This may be a stupid question but I live in an apartment in Boston and we have coin laundry in the basement that’s shared by about 4 different apartments (16 people) and it’s been broken for two weeks. I’ve let the landlord know about the situation and submitted a ticket to the laundry company. If this issue persists for longer would we be able to argue reduced rent since this apartment is listed as having in complex laundry and we pay extra in rent for that service?
