DME Oral question
I am planning on calling my DME tomorrow to clarify but thought I would ask here just in case one of you were scrolling Reddit on the weekend.
I am using the ACS codes and looking up the topics in the ASA Oral and Practical Guide and using the appropriate 8083 to study particular subjects.
Example: AKTR lists AM.I.A.K22 as an incorrect response. Subject is A. Fundamentals of Electricity and Electronics, Logic Gates. From my understanding of the new O&P process, I need to study this particular material regarding Logic Gates and not the entire chapter for Electricity and Electronics, is this correct?
I'm sitting in the high 80's for all exams and have enough ACS codes ( I believe) to just study the material that I missed on the exams to do well. I just want to make sure I am not limiting my study efforts but also focus on the things I need to and not overwhelm myself with the entire subject when I only need to study particular material.
I am also reviewing all the Risk Management in each subject as they don't seem to be associated with a particular ACS code, and familiarizing myself with all the potential Skills in the ASA book.
Watched a video with Jeffrey McCoy on the Thrust Institutes YouTube and he discussed students studying the particular ACS codes and doing well but I wanted to make sure I wasn't misinterpreting what he said.
Thanks for the help,
Cheers
